Somehow this lake is filled with Barramundi when it feels like it shouldn't be. Someone must have introduced the fish into the lake
I cast a fishing rod and catch a fish first try
This is related to another backwards incline into this dream sync I could probably remember, if I thought about it. But it feels like I'm not supposed to remember
I bring the Barramundi in easily without much of a fight, which is strange
We are debating whether or not the Barramundi is large enough to keep, or if it should be thrown back. I use my leg length to measure. Which is strange because in the real world, I remember the measurement using (a percentage of) my arm
The Barramundi turns into a beautiful young blonde haired woman
I continue handing her like I would the fish. Examining her
I tell the person I'm with that I think she's a Fairie
I pull her forward. Pull down the back of her top to expose her shoulder blades, so I can check
I realise she is definitely a Fairie, because she has "wing" marks in the centre of her back, next to her spine, on either side
I realise that because she's a Fairie, I'm within my right to keep her if I want. And for some reason, I know I'm allowed to do whatever I want with her
I'm not sure what lore or mythology this is, but it definitely feels like ...
If she were a normal woman, I would have met her go and treated her with respect
But ... Because she's a Fairie, it means she basically belongs to me. Like I own her and can literally do anything I want to her, if I want to do it
I take her into my arms and bring her in close. Forcing her to kiss me
She reluctantly kiss me back
I stop kissing her and tell her. "You're going to mate with me Fairie, and bare my child"
I start kissing her again
She gets upset. Like she is going to cry
So I stop
It feels strange to me. A Fairie shouldn't be reacting this way. She should be accepting whatever I want from her happily
All I should need do is tell her or show her what I want, and she does it
But she is obviously unhappy and uncomfortable with being held, and what I'm demanding of her ...
So I let her go
She continues to cry and moan, even though I've already let her go and I'm leaving. "Alright!" I say to her, as if I'm telling her enough with the theatrics "I'm not going to force you. It's OK"
I leave the cave, annoyed that she wasn't what she was supposed to be
It felt like, she should have loved me instantly. But for some reason she hated me. This hurt and made me feel angry
But, I left her alone in the cave and left
Then as I'm outside, I see a vision of a Merman (male mermaid) jumping out of the water inside
I could see him in my head, and feel him, coming to attack us outside
Seemingly to protect the Fairie. Even though he had no reason to
I saw him coming, and was prepared
He was coming outside to attack us under the impression that we were regular people. Not a type or form of superhuman, like himself
The second he emerged from the cave outside and attacked us, I countered his attack and exposed myself as a superhuman, as powerful, if not far more powerful than himself
After blocking his attack, my skin glimmered invisible for a second like a chameleon, from the inside out. Not just camouflage though, I literally flashed the fact that I could turn invisible, to announce exactly who and what I am
He freaked out and aborted his attack "A Gyph?" He said. "You're supposed to be extinct"
"Well obviously, I'm not" I replied
A helicopter flew in close, to investigate what was happening at the mouth of the cave
The Merman was startled and ran back into the cave to close the entrance and hide from the spotlight on the chopper circling in the air above us
The Fairie was watching and instantly changed towards me
Now, knowing what I am, she wanted to be with me more than anything in the world
She started pleading with me at the cave doors as they were closing, telling me she wants to be with me
"PLEASE" she begged, "IT'S SO LONELY DGET HERE. I DON'T WANT TO BE LONELY ANY MORE"
I had to leave her behind, safe inside the cave, but I kissed her one last time through the doors as they closed
As we kissed, she brought something up into her mouth that glowed
It glowed brightly enough to shine though the skin making her whole mouth and head glow
She pushed it into my mouth and the glow faded gently as it was absorbed into my body, through our kiss
I watched her hair change to brown and all the radiance in her skin start to fade after she kissed me
She was a regular mortal now
She gave me her immortality
I was shocked, realising what she'd given me
I asked her how she was going to survive in the caves without it, as a regular person and she assured me she had friends that would take care of her
The Merman was also shocked she gave me her immortality
But she assured him, she knew what she was going
She told him that she gave it to me, so she knows I'll come back for her
Something told me she was going to lose half her lifetime waiting for me. That she was sacrificing literally thousands of years (if not more) of life, in the short few years she would be waiting for me without her gift
That she was giving up allot more than it seemed
But she didn't care. She wanted to
I promised myself that I would be back for her as soon as possible, to return her light to her
Then I woke up
